Your church's data, kept safe.
Member details, giving records and pastoral notes deserve care. Here is how ChurchOps protects them, in plain words.
Six things every church can count on.
Your data stays in Canada
ChurchOps is hosted in Canada. Your church's data, including nightly backups, never leaves Canada.
Each church is kept separate
Every church's records are walled off. Staff can only see and work in their own church.
Two-step sign-in for everyone
Every user signs in with a password plus a 6-digit code from a phone app. A stolen password alone is not enough.
The right people see the right things
Roles decide who can see and change each area. Viewer accounts are read-only, and finance pages are for finance roles.
We never see card numbers
Online gifts are paid on Stripe's or Moneris's secure pages. ChurchOps never sees or stores card numbers, and payment keys are stored encrypted.
Nightly encrypted backups
Your data is backed up every night, encrypted, and kept in Canada.
Locked down, not locked out.
Sign-in is built to stop strangers without getting in the way of your team.
- ✓Repeated wrong passwords or codes pause sign-in
- ✓Idle sessions sign out after 30 minutes
- ✓Changing a password signs out every other device
- ✓Every sign-in and password reset is recorded
You own your data.
- ✓A church admin can download all of the church's data at any time
- ✓We never sell or share church data for marketing or advertising
- ✓Every page is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS)
- ✓Canada's private-sector privacy law is recognised by the European Union and the United Kingdom as giving adequate protection for personal data
